- Speaking from experience. We've had cubs with two mommies. They didn't come to us so they could lead a den, they came to us so we help them raise a boy. Boys need male role models and a lesbian couple doesn't have that option. It's just no big deal unless you make it that way.

- Lock downs and having trained, armed school police is a good thing. My children need defended and protected when I'm not around. As a parent I would gladly pay extra taxes to have as much protection for my children as I can get.

- This story is out of balance. All I saw is more of the same from Obama saying it the Republicans fault for not working out a deal and extending tax cuts from Bush. Wait a second I thought Obama hated everything Bush so why doesn't he have his own plan.
